The degree and masters programmes are offered in co-operation with the University of Derby (UK). • AH&LA American Diploma in Hospitality Management

3. Additional Pathways
Students can, in addition to the main Hotel Management programme, elect one or more of the following
specialist pathways:

• Tourism Management
• Events Management
• International Spa Management
Depending on the pathway(s) selected, students will graduate with a combined qualification (e.g. BA (Honours) Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management and International Spa Management).

4. SHMS University Campus (SMU)
In the SHMS University Campus in the Leysin, we offer a suite of fully recognised MA/MBA’s. Graduates of any of our BA programmes can enter any of the MA/MBA’s.

To assist students to achieve the best results, SHMS provides the latest study facilities, including free online access to the internet on all computers within the school, as well as access to the University of Derby library, through the internet. In many areas within SHMS, students can also utilise wireless connection to the internet. 6. Paid Work Experience
Studying in Switzerland not only gives you the chance to study abroad, but also offers you the opportunity to gain international work experience.Each year of study at SHMS consists of a 5 month academic term followed by a 4 - 6 month internship in Switzerland or overseas. Students work in paid practical training in the industry, which in the first year is arranged by the School. The practical training is fully integrated with the academic programmes.
